When will our name be official?

Now that the name change has been approved, we have begun working with the various state departments of insurance to satisfy all regulatory requirements. We anticipate this work will be completed in early June, 2001.

In the meantime, which name is correct?

The transition to a new name takes time. For an extended period, you will have some documents with the name “Heritage” and some with “ACUITY.” Both names are valid. It is not necessary to update your existing policy or any other documents. You may continue to receive bills and correspondence from Heritage for quite some time. Don't throw them away! Just treat them as you do today.

Will my rates or coverage change as a result of the new name?

No. Like always, there may be changes in coverage and rates over time, but any upgrades will be unrelated to the name change.

Does this mean our Mutual corporate structure is changing?

No. Only our name is changing.
