Why are we changing our name?

Since our inception in 1925, we have had three different names. Each upgrade was intended to better reflect who we are. And although “Heritage” has served us well since 1957, there are countless similar names in the insurance and financial services industries alone. We therefore need to better distinguish ourselves. Most importantly, we need a fresh, bold name to reflect who we are and what we promise: Integrity, Strength, and Innovation.

Why did we choose ACUITY?

The word “acuity” is defined as “keenness or sharpness of perception.” It reflects our sharp focus on you, our policyholder. It also describes our strength of vision for insurance and financial services.
